Alterhuman
An umbrella term for people who experience identity beyond the standard human experience.
Otherkin
someone who idenifys as a nonhuman animal in some way.
Therian
someone who idenifys, usually as an earthly animal, in some way as a nonhuman animal
Other main terms
Otherhearted
People who identify with an animal as opposed to idenifying as.
otherlink
Smeone who links and idenifys and a nonhuman animal for various reasons (sometimes voluntary)
Common shifts
Phantom shift
Feeling of a limb from your kintype which isnt actually there for example a tail.
Mental shift
Shifting into your kintypes mindsent.
Emotional shift
Shifting into your kintypes mindsent during a certain mindset.

Creatures whos alterhuman idenitys orgin is spirtual like relgion or past lives.
pyschological
Creatures whos alterhuman idenitys orgin is due to neurodivergence or trauma.
